We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our prestigious high-end Chinese restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, creativity in menu development, and the ability to deliver authentic Chinese dishes with a modern twist. While experience in Chinese cuisine is preferred, it is not mandatory. We welcome talented chefs with diverse culinary backgrounds who are eager to learn and excel in our kitchen.

Requirements

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality Chinese dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to the restaurant's standards.
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef and kitchen team to create innovative and enticing menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and vision.
  • Managing inventory and ordering of ingredients to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Staying updated on current food trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas into menu development and presentation.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, following proper cleaning and maintenance procedures for equipment and workspaces.
  • Working efficiently during peak hours to meet customer demand while maintaining food quality and presentation.
  • Communicating effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth coordination and timely service.

What we expect from you:

  • Proven experience as a Chef preferably in high-end restaurants or luxury hotels. Experience in Chinese or other Asian cuisines are considered to be a plus.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus. 
  • Creative flair for menu development and presentation, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and quality. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and management. 
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. 
  • A commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards, with knowledge of HACCP guidelines and regulations. 
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
  • Minimum age requirement 21 years.
