Job description
The Head of IT Strategy and Architecture (Head of S&A) will be responsible for the strategy and architecture team within the CIO Office. The S&A team consists of appr 10 persons, including the Chief Architect who reports to the Head of S&A”. You will report to the CIO and be a member of the CIO Office Management Team.

Skill requirements
• Responsible for strategically plan technology and IT-systems that support Swedbank’s overall business goals
• Manage and lead the Strategy and Architecture team defining, maintaining and enforcing the bank´s IT strategy and architecture framework
• Virtually manage business architects in Business Areas and Technical architects in Group IT
• Leading technology, developing guidelines and anticipating trends in the market place with regards to technology
• Overall plan and manage the implementation of the necessary technology to increase information, accessibility and integrated systems management
• Overall plan and adapt systems through the use of existing technologies and developing new technologies to expand group wide technological
capabilities
The position is based in Stockholm and You should be able to travel between our Baltic countries.
To succeed in this role You need to have
• A relevant university degree
• Experience of building senior Management relationships, lead through inspiring and convincing senior managers outside own organization and have good teambuilding skills with experience of leading experts
• Strong communication skills in general, ability to communicate complex issues in a simple and clear manner
• Corporate perspective, identifying synergies and balancing common versus business specific issues
• Driving change, solid change management background
• Extensive background within IT strategy and Enterprise architecture
• Experience of large organizations where IT is a critical business enabler
