Job Description
▪ Define system requirements for the WLAN sub system (802.11) for home networking devices (Gateways, STB, tablets, …);
▪ Analyze internal and external requirements and translate those into guidelines for the development teams. And guide those development teams;
▪ Follow-up and report on WLAN standardization (IEEE and Wi-Fi Alliance);
▪ Act as a technical expert in the area of WLAN technology;
▪ Provide WLAN technology trainings (internal and external);
▪ Generate patent WLAN applications;
▪ Submit feasibility reports in the form of technology or white papers;
▪ Provide Wi-Fi design documentation;
▪ Cooperate with internal and external multicultural contacts.

Requirements
▪ Master in Electronics/ICT or by experience.
▪ Broad knowledge of telecommunication protocols (Eg. ATM, Ethernet, DSL, WLAN, 3Gpp, 802.1x …), IP networking, Internet technologies;
▪ Experience in SW development for embedded systems;
▪ Linux knowledge (openWRT and/or Android is a plus);
▪ Technical writing skills;
▪ Problem debugging knowledge (host, on target);
▪ Agile methodologies is a plus;
▪ Wi-Fi 802.11bgn domain knowledge is a plus.
Language:
▪ English is mandatory.
