Purchaser and Production Planner

Job Description

Working in Supply Chain Department: placing and fulfilling purchasing orders for direct and indirect materials, shop supplies, tools, and any other items that company needs. The purchaser is responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory level, solving issues with suppliers and participating in production planning and control processes.
• Following and ensuring stock of materials, tools, inventory, and optimizing stock levels as well as working with various stock control methods;
• Continuous benchmarking of suppliers, parts and services;
• Researching for the special orders of components or services;
• Obtaining quotes, placing purchase orders, and establishing delivery dates;
• Managing, investigating and resolving issues on suppliers’ related materials, quality, shortages and compliance;
• Identifying material quantity deviations, taking corrective actions with high attention to discrepancies;
• Participating in stock inventory counting process;
• Implementing cost-savings initiatives through continuous process improvement;
• Supporting and planning production processes by having understanding the sequence of operations;
• Being responsible for transactional accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Technical Sciences, Logistics, Economics, Business Management;
• Some experience as a purchaser or planner in production company would be an advantage;
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point;
• Lean, quality, manufacturing, process control knowledge;
• Fluency in English (Russian language skills would be an advantage);
• Exceptional organizational skill with the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously;
• Attentive to the details, demanding with the quality orientation;
• Strong analytical thinking;
• Position requires an in-depth knowledge of Kinze business practices and the Kinze product line.
