BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

As a development engineer you will work within a technical team who are in charge of developing and maintaining our BI platform. You will take care of development quality, particularly following key drivers on performance, scalability, resilience, robustness and conception.

There is great potential to be involved in supporting and developing our current BI platform based on Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and 2012. There is also the opportunity to integrate the Microsoft BI platform with our ‘big’ data projects using tools such as Hadoop and Spark in the coming future.

You will consider yourself an expert in your field and be able to demonstrate the talented work you’ve achieved throughout your career. You have skills, knowledge and experience in: • SQL Server, including its development • Microsoft analysis and integration tools SSAS and SSIS • SSRS Reporting Suite • High volume applications in 24x7 context (performance, resilience, deployment constraints, tracking/logging) • ASP/SQL Server scripting • Fluent English in addition to another European language, specifically French is a major advantage. Nice to have: • Knowledge in Agile methodologies: Extreme Programming/Scrum, and software development environments (Eclipse, SVN, Hudson, Maven, Unit tests, Bugzilla) in Windows environment. • Knowledge in Linux would be a plus • Object oriented analysis and conception in Java, design patterns. • Experience in TDD/BDD/X-programming would also be a plus.
