Job Description

Under general direction from the Director of Learning and Development, this position consults with business leaders to analyze business-specific and companywide performance gaps and learning and development needs. Using Learning and Development techniques, it will assess, design, develop, implement and evaluate learning solutions that meet business needs and align with the overall HR and company strategy.

Responsibilities:
• Assists the L&D Director in planning, developing and delivering all Learning and Development initiatives for a wide range of topics including technical (e.g., implementation and client management), sales training, management development, leadership development, career development, change management and professional development skills (e.g., problem solving, negotiation).
• Collaborate with various business units, in order to create instructor-led and eLearning curriculum and leverage all appropriate resources. In addition, this position supports the Learning and Development team in the delivery of enterprise-wide Human Resource development learning programs and initiatives.
• Through regular meetings with business leaders and SME’s, assess current state, designs, delivers and evaluates the effectiveness of training solutions aligned to business or strategic objectives.
• Monitors and analyzes ongoing performance trends to continue to enhance existing programs and recommend new.
• Provides consulting to support leadership in areas such as change management, competency modeling and team development.
• Utilizes Instructional Design skills to develop and maintain instructional materials such as job aids, self-study materials, leader’s guides, instructor-led materials, and e-learning materials as necessary. Identifies and acts upon opportunities to improve or update training programs including all training manuals, materials, and policy/procedural changes.
• Participates as a Learning Management System administrator, as required.
• Collaborates with internal groups, develops performance models and competency-based learning and development strategies that meet the needs of the current and future organization, drive increased employee effectiveness, and support company objectives.
• Serves as a subject matter expert and consultant to the HR team, executives and business organizations with regard to learning and development for improved workplace effectiveness

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience Learning and Development area.
• Demonstrated expertise in learning analysis, design, development, delivery, implementation and evaluation is required.
• Demonstrated experience determining appropriate learning interventions using adult learning theory.
• Demonstrated experience delivering/facilitating various topics in person or virtually.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to manage internal customer relationships and expectations.
• Proven experience understanding business challenges, providing consulting services to senior level leaders and building collaborative relationships with stakeholders and SMEs.
• Ability to foster cooperation with a wide variety of partners is required to perform the functions as described.
• Ability to independently prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment, as well as the ability to hold others accountable to meet project goals and requirements.
• Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
• Ability to read/understand industry regulations and incorporate the information into various training. Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly and accurately. High attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to the changing demands of business is a must.
• Experience working with employees in multiple locations.
