Container Maintenance and Repair (M&R) assistant – M/F

We are looking for a container maintenance and repair assistant. This is a full time position which will be part of the container control team, located in Klaipėda, Lithuania.
M&R daily execution and follow-up, which consists of:
• Reviewing and authorizing repair estimates;
• Vendor invoice review and approval, cost follow-up;
• Third party claims (investigation and follow-up);
• Efficient communication with relevant service providers and vendors including physical depot visits;
• Maintaining reports and KPIs, updating relevant systems;
• Reporting to local M&R supervisor as well as group container fleet manager

We expect you to have these qualifications:
• College or university degree (technical specialization, e.g. mechanical engineering degree, is seen as a significant advantage);
• Fluent in English, both verbal and writing (Russian is seen as advantage);
• Excellent computer skills (“MS Office” software suite advanced knowledge is a must);
• Excellent communication and people skills, able and willing to work in the international environment using English as primary language;
• Understanding of container ISO standards, CSC convention, IICL standard, ACEP scheme are seen as advantages
