The Delivery Manager is expected to efficiently execute cross-functional, cross-department, sometimes multi-site projects within agreed budget & timelines. This is accomplished by effective and efficient coordination and guidance (i.e. management) of virtual team members representing those different departments and functions while keeping sponsors and key stakeholders well informed of the progress of the project(-s) as well as management of their expectations.
The candidate must be capable of managing complex projects (i.e. 20+ involved people, EUR 100k+ budgets, 4-12 month timeline) from the final stages of sales process to the project delivery & hand-over to operations. Candidate must be able to work independently while being 100% aligned with other concurrent projects run by Delivery Management Department and its objective to deliver per Company’s mission and strategy.

Key responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and implementation of project;
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables;
• Define project tasks and resource requirements;
• Develop full scale project plans;
• Assemble and coordinate project staff;
• Manage project budget;
• Manage project resource allocation;
• Plan and schedule project timelines;
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools;
• Provide direction and support to project team;
• Plan and assure quality assurance for project deliverables;
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders;
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions;
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs;
• Project evaluation and assessment of results;
• Provide pro-active stakeholder management;
• Align waterfall-driven project with agile software development cycles;
• Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency and radiating information.
• Closely work together with accepted persons for implementing projects/tasks from other departments;
• To organize communication with third parties participating in the project;
• Provide support to sales team with communication to the customer to help secure the deal while also acting as a consultant to ensure that project is feasible (from technical and operational perspective) and in line with the Company’s strategy.
• To participate in testing and implementation of project results in a manner, which is in accordance with procedures;
• If necessary, to prepare the documentation of products, procedures and programs.

Reikalavimai

• A technology or business graduate degree, or equivalent experience
• At least 7 years in IT
• At least 3 years in private sector IT procurement
• Project Management experience
• Proven track record in effective stakeholder management
• A solid understanding of technology
• A solid understanding of ERP and other supporting system vendors and products
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with managers and specialists
• Extensive private sector experience in IT procurement
• Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Ability to travel
• Strong analytical and decision making ability, a skilled and organised manager
• A master negotiator, both internally (within the company) and externally (with vendors)
• High moral integrity
