Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Billing Engineering team of the Ignitis Group shared service center, where you’ll help us take care of the Agile development team creating products for new business opportunities. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Managing and leading a team of employees, performing effective people management (one-to-ones, coaching, career development)
  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of new functionalities in Billing solutions
  • Focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done
  • Ensuring the sustainable development of IT systems in line with changing business needs
  • Resolving conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
  • Coaching team members in Agile frameworks, teach Scrum practices and principles
  • Facilitating internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Being the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)

Qualifications

  • Have 2+ years of experience in managing a team (5 -12 FTEs)
  • Have 5+ years of experience in IT systems development
  • Have excellent organization and time management skills
  • Have strategic thinking, creativity, and leadership qualities and the ability to manage large volumes of information simultaneously
  • To be driven and self-motivated with a highly flexible team player attitude
  • To be an independent self-learner with a problem-solving mindset
  • Have experience with task management tools (Jira and similar)
  • Have experience working with an external IT system development team

Would be an advantage:

  • Scrum Master, Product Owner experience
  • Knowledge of ITIL change management
