Platform Engineer

• Participate in planning, design, deployment and maintenance of highly resilient Private Cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capable universal platform based on Windows Server, System Center, Windows Azure Pack and vCloud Suite; integrate with Public Cloud.
• Implement BC/DR, Backups, Monitoring.
• Develop and maintain high level of automation using PowerShell, SMA, DSC, vRealize.
• Participate in Hybrid Cloud environment design and implementation, deploy and support workloads in Public Cloud.
• Administer Office 365 environment (Messaging, Collaboration, Communications).
• Provide support throughout platform and service lifecycle– design, implement, support, upgrade/retire/migrate.
• Participate in server and storage hardware maintenance.
• Provide Tier2/3 support.

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role and Bachelor degree in IT field (preferable).
• At least one recent Microsoft MCSE certificate. Preferred: MCSE: Private Cloud, MCSA: Office 365, MCSD: Azure Solutions Architect or VMware Certified Professional certificates.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft and VMware technology stacks.
• Advanced experience in designing and supporting Private, Hybrid and Public Cloud infrastructures.
• Advanced experience in implementing IaaS, PaaS, SaaS types of platforms.
• Advanced experience in sizing and configuring server and storage hardware and enterprise storage array related technologies.
• Advanced experience in scripting and automation.
• Advanced knowledge of Networking, Load Balancers.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Identity Federation, Office 365, Mobile Device Management.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work both independently and as a part of the team.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly, but keep high accuracy and attention to detail.
