Job Description

The Practice Management Scheduling Coordinator will provide administrative support and respond to the needs and directions of the PSR Scheduling Department which may include but not limited to Providers ensuring the successful communication regarding the scheduling and any other relevant information. The role will report to Accounting Manager.

• Assist Scheduling Specialists with various duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.
• Assist the Scheduling Specialists as needed to create and distribute monthly schedules for each emergency department group in area of responsibility.
• Assist the Scheduling Specialists to reconcile and submit final schedules in a timely and accurate manner to payroll monthly. Provide other data related to compensation.
• Assist the Scheduling Specialists to participate in the analysis, evaluation, and implementation of existing and proposed schedules with managing partners, Medical Directors and/or Practice Administrator.
• Prepare supporting documentation, and other reports to assist in scheduling and/or forecasting as needed
• Work with other Operations members to ensure business objectives are met.
• Create Excel spreadsheets, Word documents and Power Point presentation as required.
• Assist in the administrative services of the Scheduling Department including printing, copying, filing and mail distribution
• Complete other special projects as requested in a timely and accurate manner.
• Understanding, support, enforcement and compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of business ethics and conduct.
• Display a positive attitude as well as professional, polite, considerate and courteous conduct and treatment of others in the course of duties.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Meet routine deadlines and work schedules as well as timely and accurate completion of special projects and any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science.
• Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
• The ability to multi-task and to establish appropriate priorities is required.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, effective organizational skills, effective follow-through and closure of responsibilities and projects.
• Excellence in business correspondence composition and accuracy in verbal and written communication skills.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility.
