We are looking for a colleague to lead and implement package sourcing activities for Tier 2/3 contracts in areas such as Offshore WTGs, Foundations, Substations, Cables, and Ports, valued up to 50 million Euros. Oversee related sourcing for design, consultancy, and additional contracting contracts. Take a pivotal role in contract negotiations, focusing on all commercial aspects. Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimize commercial value realization. Ensure effective supplier management and streamlined handling of Request for Proposal/Invitation to Tender documents. Your key areas of responsibilities will be:  

  • Collaborate with the Work Package Manager to develop, maintain, and oversee the detailed Request for Proposal process and timeline for the respective contracts, including securing internal gate approvals. 

  • Initiate and manage early engagement with the package-specific Tier 2/3 and accompanying supply chain (designers, consultants), including the elaboration and handling of relevant Request for Information  processes. 

  • Partner with the Work Package Manager to select capable Tier 2/3 bidders. 

  • Take charge of initiating, managing, and elaborating the entire Request for Proposal/Invitation to Tender process, focusing on all ITT document management and commercial input and clarifications. 

  • Manage the entire package-related supply chain relationship and document exchange process, including the responsible management of all clarification and deviation registers. 

  • Implement commercial processes, requirements, tendering rules, reporting, and document handling standards based on the project's governing model. 

  • Prepare for and participate in all package-related negotiations, leading or participating in all commercial negotiations in close coordination with the Work Package Manager. 

  • In collaboration with the package-related Contract manager, take the lead in the comprehensive agreement document set management/elaboration, ensuring adherence to timelines and finalization of documents. 

  • Interact with all related interfaces to/from the package and actively participate in all related meetings. 

Requirements

  • Have a degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration and/or Engineering with relevant commercial expertise  

  • Have a minimum of 5 years previous experience in a senior or lead procurement position; within offshore wind and within the respective package would be an advantage 

  • Have an experience in offshore wind development projects or supply chain business 

  • Have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently 

  • Are able to work within the ‘projects magic triangle’ in quality, time and budget and under deadline pressure, ensuring efficient procurement execution while meeting financial constraints.
