Job Description

Training organisation, based in UK with new offices in Vilnius, need a dynamic, driven, process driven Operations Manager to report to the MD. The Operations Manager will be involved in course scheduling, allocating resources, budgetary control, approving invoices and generally ensuring the smooth running of the department overseeing a happy team split between Vilnius and London.
Operations Manager should be well educated, have demonstrated good career progression to date, highly computer literate, have good analytic and problem solving skills, can prepare reports, demonstrate leadership and have excellent organisational and project management skills.

Requirements

Desirable attributes for the Operations Manager would be an IT training background, although people who have hotel or airline industry experience also well suited to the role
The duties and responsibilities of the Operation Manager include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of Hardware, Software and human resources.

Essential

• Information technology skills

Desirable
• Preference will be given to those who had handled an IT Institute/Organization in the recent past.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, and/or distribution of products.
• Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
• Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
• Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with board members, organization officials, and staff members as necessary.

• Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.

• Monitor businesses and agencies to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
