SAS DEVELOPER

The SAS development team will be working with complex advisory and marketing solutions based on communication between advisors and customers.

• Multi-Channel Tool (MCT) is a complex system using a lot of technologies. A suitable developer should preferably master several of these:
• The data part where you need to know how to fetch data from Data Warehouse or on a specific DB2 table (mainframe) and get it into the MCT Mart in the right structure – handling data in both MS SQL and IBM DB2. An interface to MS Excel is also available.
• The analytical environment using SAS Model Manager (SAS MM), SAS Data Miner (SAS DM), Enterprice Miner, DI studio, metadata.
• The core part primarily based on SAS Marketing Automatisation (MA) and SAS Marketing Optimization (MO) that is the platform on which the business creates their campaigns for the customers based on data from the MCT Datamart. High level knowledge of SAS MA, SAS MO, SAS Digital Marketing, SAS Email Designer Module (EDM). Knowledge of Load Sharing Facility (LSF), metadata and the management console is required. Experience in development of SAS programs (not campaigns) is necessary.
• The channel part. Which uses Netstyr, Gemini, PL1/Rdz, SI interfaces. Knowledge of DB2 performance, portal (WEB) technology, telephone system (Outbound i/f), I/F to document systems.
• Reporting environment. SAS Visual Analytics (VA), metadata.

• Strong development background in several of SAS technologies mentioned above, not necessarily all of them.
• General good understanding of architecture – what is good architecture and what is not.
• Self-driven with good understanding of the business.
• Analytical and quality oriented.
