Cloud Solutions Engineers

Summary: Cloud Solutions Engineers are responsible for design, building and maintenance of cloud infrastructure for the managed service. The role will include involvement in infrastructure design and implementation as well as providing support. The Cloud Solution Team provides Managed Services infrastructure design and development for industry leading Bentley Managed Services users around the world. Bentley’s partnership with Microsoft allows early access to cutting edge Microsoft Azure technologies and hands on engagements with Microsoft experts. Some out of hours work will be required to respond to urgent issues to ensure business continuity for our users. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and manage Azure Resource Manager based deployments. • Automate Azure Resource Manager based deployments. • Perform Managed Services Cloud deployments. • Support production deployments. • Continuous research and development on cloud technologies.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with IT infrastructure setup and maintenance. Strong preference for public cloud based infrastructure (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with Azure Resource Manager templates a strong preference
• Strong PowerShell experience.
• Experience with infrastructure backup and recovery would be great to have. Strong preference for Azure based backup and recovery experience including working with GRS and Azure backups.
• Experience with SQL server setup and troubleshooting (all flavors) is a strong plus.
• Experience with AD/DNS, IIS troubleshooting and setup, network routing and load balancing in a virtual environment, and / or Linux/Unix would be nice to have.
