Construction Manager, Wind

European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We cover all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early development to operation and/or divestment of assets. We operate globally and employ 23 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and our offices in Sweden, the UK, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, and Spain. As our new Construction Manager, you will work from our office in Vilnius, and assist us building utility scale wind projects in a scale up to 200 MW. The projects will primarily be in Lithuania. You will be involved in the construction phase of the projects and make sure that we deliver on time and within scope. A substantial part of your job will be carried out on site overseeing the progress and participating at relevant meetings.

You will be working with many internal and external stakeholders and coordinate and manage the different construction activities day-to-day on site. You will be responsible for HSE, contractual management and the construction performance in close cooperation with our Project Managers.

You will see yourself in an environment with a big variation of interesting tasks. You have solid interpersonal skills to negotiate with local suppliers, service providers and communicate with subcontractors

Professional skills we expect from you

• You have at least 4 years of experience and a proven track record within construction management, preferably from a similar role with large scale projects
• You have a technical and commercial understanding
• Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, primarily wind technologies is an advantage
• You are an expert user in MS Office
• You have completed a bachelor or master at university level or an equivalent institution within engineering or similar
• You master Lithuanian and English at a professional level
• Qualification certificate granted the right to hold the position of construction manager of a special structures. Structures: communications (roads, streets, other transport structures), engineering networks, engineering structures for other purposes (energy production structures using renewable energy sources - wind power plants) or other engineering structures.

You are curious and have a strong construction management background where you lean upon experience and already proven processes. It is important that you have good structural skills, as you will be working in a high paced and multidisciplinary environment with complex projects.

Salary: 2,300 - 3,000 Euros after taxes depending on experience
