Job Description
- Responsible for monthly accounting and compliance for six entities.
- Preparation of month end closing entries:
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepayments and accruals
- Intercompany recharges
- Revenue accruals including self-invoicing revenue
- Fixed asset journals
- Reporting and explanation of monthly results:
- Gross margin vs. trading forecast
- Overheads vs. budget
- Assist in the production of statutory accounts and year-end audit.
- Responsible for filing statutory returns for assigned countries (e.g. VAT, Corp tax, Statistics).
- Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Responsible for cost of sales analysis and reporting. Comparison of accrued vs. invoiced cost for traffic providers.
- Assist in the preparation of budget and updating of forecast models.
- Prepare periodic revenue forecast & gross margin analysis.
Requirements
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role with multi-currency and multi-country experience.
- Fluent in English. Any other international languages are a plus.
- Sound technical accounting skills.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable with remote management and working with colleagues based in multiple locations.
