Network Support Engineer

CEO of Marketing Software Company is seeking Exceptional Network Support Engineer

I’m looking for a unique individual with the strongest set of skills, motivation and competence to onboard our clients in Lithuania. I need someone who is not only an engineer, but can also communicate well with our clients and be friendly.

This is a part-time job and does not require you to be in the office, but we are expecting you to be available to us anytime during the working hours.

The mission of our company is to bridge the gap between the online and offline worlds. The company works with traditional businesses to understand who their guests, visitors, clients, and customers are. Through WiFisher, venues know better how to reach out to their customers and can reach them with WiFisher’s automated email marketing tools, or by creating their own customized marketing messages.

The perfect person for this position knows the fundamentals of network engineering and has had an experience of configuring different network devices, especially WiFi Routers. We are not expecting to get highly proficient network engineer for this position, but we are looking for a talented person that is in the beginning of the career.

In the perfect case we require our candidate to have experience and knowledge of the following things:
• Basic Knowledge of TCP/IP Stack
• Basic IP routing Knowledge
• Basic/Advanced WIFI Technology knowledge (L2 Roaming, Radio Frequency, Controller Configuration)
• DHCP/NAT Good Knowledge
• Work Experience with: Cisco Wireless LAN Controller, Ruckus Zone Directory knowledge, Mikrotik, LigoWave

Network Support Engineer will spend their time going to our client venues and either supporting them or being involved directly in configuring their WiFi equipment based on WiFisher’s instructions for different network vendors. After everything is configured, you’ll have to test whether the WiFi equipment is successfully configured to our cloud platform.

I am expecting our Network Support Engineer to be a fast learner. There are many things to learn in our company. Everybody is on a constant track to become smarter by learning and show better results. We have CCIE on our team that is also super competent in Aruba and Ruckus. He will convey a lot of knowledge to you.

You will work in a team with our sales representative in Lithuania. This means that you two will have to be an incredible team that will serve as a benchmark in our company. Our company’s culture is all about all-star players that are forming an incredible team of achievers.

It’s really important for me to track the client onboarding process. One of my strong requirements is to have all activities with clients logged into client relationship management software that we use. I need somebody organized. This program is easy to use and will help you keep track of all the activities you are into on day-to-day bases. Of course I will personally conduct training to onboard you on this software.

And well the last but not the least is that I need you to be independent. I understand that at the beginning you’ll have quite a lot of questions and I’ll be happy to support you together with the rest of the team, but at the end of the day we are looking for somebody that strives to work independently as soon as possible.

- Incredibly proactive. You look for things that need to be done and you do them. You don't wait around until you are told to do something.
- Positive. You have to be positive. I don't want to hear complaints. I want to hear what you're doing to make each day the best day for the company.
- Flexible. You need to be comfortable when plans change when things go wrong.
- Great Communication skills.

Compensation is fully negotiable. I'm willing to pay for the right person. I wouldn't expect to find anyone for less than EUR 6,000/year + bonuses. So, that's the starting point but I'm willing to pay more if you happen to be amazing.
