Accountant for Baltic States

Responsibility of the Baltic cost centers in company UAB Geberit
Salary administration in the Baltic countries with external payroll providers
Accruals for monthly closings
Participation in preparation of the forecasts, budget and closings
Contact to auditors and advisors (EE and LV)
Creation of debtor and vendor master data in SAP
Scanning of incoming vendor invoices
Booking of credit note regarding customer bonuses for the three Baltic countries
Account statements to debtors including dunning letters
VAT declaration and reconciliations in-house and external partnership companies
Keep the rules GICS (Geberit Internal Control System) within own responsibility areas
Direct accountability to Director of Finance & Controlling and Baltic states CEO.

Bachelor’s degree minimum in accounting or finance
Great working knowledge of finance and administrational operations
Thorough knowledge of international accounting standards
4+ years’ experience in a similar capacity
SAP experience would be an advantage
Good oral and written communication skills in Lithuanian, English (Russian would be an advantage)
Previous experience working with multiple divisional companies
Ability to exercise good judgment and work ethics to ensure the integrity of all reporting
Able to collaborate, create alignment with overall corporate goals, and create consistency of processes.
