Job Description

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Planning and direction of divisional activities related to general accounting functions including the establishment and maintenance of a complete set of books and records for a WU business unit
  
• Closing and reconciliation of the General Ledger and all financial systems
  
• Reports and analysis related to the Balance Sheet
  
• Ensure the propriety of accounting for financial transactions in accordance with GAAP and established policies and ensure internal controls are in place
  
• Ensure that risks, exposure and key business issues are identified, properly accounted for and resolved
  
• Direct the accounting process for business unit acquisitions
  
• Perform all duties inherent in a managerial role
  
• Provide guidance, planning, and direction for functional units they support

Requirements

• 10+ years financial accounting experience
  
• 7 years leadership and team management experience
  
• ACCA or equivalent qualification
  
• Fluency in English
  
• Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related field
  
• Excellent communication skills
