To support our growth in Lithuania, we are seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee the accounting function for the Lithuanian companies within the Energix Group. In this role, you will work closely with our external accounting service provider based in Vilnius, as well as with finance teams across Lithuania, Poland, the United States, and Israel.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance, while collaborating with external legal and tax advisors, auditors, financial institutions, and local authorities. Job Description
- Expert support in supervising the proper management of the company's accounting
- Participation in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Ongoing verification of the accuracy of accounting entries, account balance checks and control of fixed asset records
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS
- Preparing tax declarations
- Coordination and improvement of accounting processes
- Participating in the preparation of documentation for inspections and audits
- Constantly monitor changes in local law requirements, timely initiate changes in the company's accounting systems and processes
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in accounting
- Familiarity with accounting standards and financial statement preparation
- Degree in Finance / Accounting or a related field
- Good knowledge of financial compliance in Lithuania
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Lithuanian and English languages
- Attention to details and accuracy
- Experience in an international environment would be an advantage
