We are looking for financial professional with energy and passion to enhance processes and deliver excellent service to our internal customers. Accounting Operations at Nasdaq supports Global internal operations relating to Accounts Payable, Receivables and Payroll as well as other Financial activities.
Main tasks:
- Prepares records, verifies, analyzes and reports accounts receivable transactions
- Post cash receipts (check, wire, credit card, other credit) to accounts receivable sub ledger accounts
- Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger
- Ensures that transaction entry verification procedures are followed
- Responds to customer and internal inquires as required
- Performs basic reconciliation(s) of general ledger accounts
- Performs month end and year-end financial close process
Requirements
Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications
- University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience and accounting competence
Skills, Requirements and Competencies
- Excellent language skills in written and spoken English
- Strong communications skills across different cultures
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Experience from working in finance transformation projects is preferable
- Knowledge and understanding of financial processes and financial systems
