Job Description
The Accounts Receivables Specialist is responsible for the timely delivery of billing, managing all customer payment activities, management and collection of customer debt. The Accounts Receivables Specialist is aligned to a business stream, and will report to the Accounts Receivables Manager.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the billing process to ensure prompt billing and resolution of queries.
- Review receivables to ledger reconciliation report and resolve cause of variance.
- Process cash receipts postings to the appropriate customer account and invoices accurately and timely.
- Process bank account reconciliations and general ledger postings in accordance with established accounting procedures.
- Performing internal controls to prevent and detect errors on postings in accounts receivable.
- Track and resolving outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports.
- Perform dunning communicating with customers to ensure the timely collection of receivables and handle refunds.
Requirements
- University degree (finance, accounting, economics or similar field).
- Similar work experience in accounting.
- Languages: English – fluent, German skills would be an advantage.
- Very good computer skills (Microsoft Office packages).
- SAP skills would be an advantage.
- Very good communication and analytical skills and ability to multitask.
- Willingness to learn and take up new challenges.
- Accuracy and attention to details.
