Job Description

THE KEY ROLE OF THE POSITION

The Admissions & Communication Officer will be the “face of the school,” and enthusiastically present to potential families the mission, vision, and values of our institution. This candidate will connect with prospective families, inspire them with our approaches to learning and empower them to join a vibrant, caring school community. This candidate will develop and implement systems to attract local families in Vilnius and Lithuania, as well as expatriates moving to Lithuania. The Admissions & Communication Officer will develop a strategic plan that identifies and actively draws potential students, provides personalized attention to each potential family, and helps to retain new students and families.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ADMISSIONS

The Admission Officer is responsible for:

  • All admissions activity and enrollment management from inquiry to enrollment for students in PK to grade 12.
  • Learning and using applications and databases that support the enrollment process.
  • Collaborating with all relevant stakeholders to grow the school according to our strategic plan.
  • Submitting required and relevant reports to the proper governmental institutions.
  • Ensuring the smooth induction of all new families by liaising with divisional leaders.
  • Developing and implementing student recruitment strategies in collaboration with relevant partners to raise awareness of the school.
  • Ensuring the school follows best practices in admission procedures and engaging in ongoing development and training.

COMMUNICATION

The Admission Officer will at all times:

  • Positively represent the school in all communications with potential families and members of the greater community.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the schools’ ethos and programs.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

MARKETING

The Admission Officer will work collaboratively with the marketing team and external agents to:

  • Ensure the development and implementation of the marketing and communication strategy for the school.
  • Update on a regular basis the school's social media pages, and the school’s website.
  • Issue appropriate educational articles in both digital and traditional media.
  • Coordinate the school’s publicity campaigns, open houses, and representation meetings and events.
  • Develop an annual events program aimed at prospective parents, current parents, alumni, fairs, embassies or businesses, or other international entities.

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  •  Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Studies, Marketing & PR, Economics, etc.)
  • Fluency in Lithuanian and English, Russian will be an asset.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of Customer Relationship Management.
  • General understanding and know-how to build strong customer relations, client loyalty and retention.
  • Experience in using digital and social media trends and tools.
  • Ability to work with complete confidentiality, loyalty, discretion, and sensitivity, given the post’s access to personal data and information.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Literacy in MS Office (user level) and the ability to work with a variety of software packages and databases.
