Job Description

UAB eCREDO is seeking to recruit a full-time officer and will be responsible for the Company's Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Functions.

Minimum qualifications are:

  • University Degree in Law or Finance or any related field
  • At least 2 years' experience in Compliance, Risk Management, AML, or other related areas in the payments/financial sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Lithuanian and English

Requirements

The duties and responsibilities of the Compliance Officer include:

  • ensuring that the operationsof the Company are in compliance with the Law on Electronic Money and Electronic Money Institutions of the Republic of Lithuania, Directive (EU) 2015/2366 of the European Parliament and of tHE Council (Payment Services Directive-'PSD2'), and the EMI licensing requirements of the Bank of Lithuania (BoL)
  • Preparing and submitting relevant reports to the Management Board and the Lithuanian Regulatory Authorities
  • Enforcing the Company's Compliance policies and procedures and ensure their implementation
  • Providing guidance to the Company's staff on subjects related to regulatory compliance, reviewing marketing materials and ongoing monitoring of the Company's website to ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements of Lithuanian Legislation
  • Receipt and handling of Client's complaints
  • Arranging inspections and/or audits from thirt-party providers, and, according to the findings of such inspections/audits, providing recommendations to the Management Board.

The duties and responsibilities of the Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer include:

  • Analysing and keeping up-to-date with the AML Regulatory Framework
  • On-going training of the Company's staff on any updates of the European and Local AML Legislation
  • Identifying any AML issues or risk of failure and timely reporting them to the Management Board, proposing remedial measures, and subsequently report such issues or risk of failure to the BoL when appropriate
  • Preparing and submitting AML related reports to the Management Board and the Lithuanian Regulatory Authorities
  • Enforcing the Company's AML policies and procedures and ensures their implementation
  • Keeping records of high-risk clients, monitor and update such records on an ongoing basis
  • Ongoing monitoring of Clients' activities and reporting any suspicious activities to the Financial Crime Investigation Service ('FCIS')
