Job Description

  • The Accounts Payable Manager ensures timely, accurate and compliant processing of all Accounts Payable and Expense Reimbursement transactions in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements (SLAs) and as described in the end-to end process documentation.

  • Ensure the understanding and compliant service delivery across Dana Incorporated of agreed policies and procedures by team members
  • Fully responsible for leading the Accounts Payable and Expense Reimbursement team including steering, workload allocation, scheduling and review of performed work
  • Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for Accounts Payable and Expense Reimbursement related business processes
  • Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of Accounts Payable and Expense Reimbursement end-to-end process activities and procedures as well as taking part in other projects
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of Accounts Payable and Expense Reimbursement data, such as received invoices, vendor statements and credit/debit notes processed by team members
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team members as required
  • Assist in the implementation of initiatives for improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the Accounts Payable and Expense Reimbursement transaction processing
  • Responsible for all HR relevant topics within his/her team
  • Participation in international projects in the area of Accounts Payable and Expense Reimbursements

  • Excellent leadership to lead the whole team in the right spirit to achieve the objectives
  • Strong service orientation: strong commitment to customer orientation and understanding of customer needs and market trends
  • Proven experience in supervising a team within Accounts Payable and Expense Reimbursement processes in a complex and international business environment
  • Proven knowledge of finance and accounting processes and process improvements
  • Work experience with SAP and typical other IT systems and tools. Technical understanding of IT supported processes to increase process automation
  • Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under stress and pressure
  • International experience and intercultural view
  • Strong communication skills with ability to effectively present concepts to cross-functional teams, customers and stakeholders
  • Strong team player with a positive and pragmatic approach on problem solving; troubleshooting and conflict management skills
  • Analytical/conceptual understanding; able to breakdown complex issues and understand the impact
  • Ability/willingness to travel for a longer period
  • Excellent command of English and ideally respective market language
