Application Lifecycle Management Specialist

In this role, the Application Lifecycle Management Specialist will operate, enhance, and support the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) toolset used by developers worldwide. These tools are the foundation of all software development at Festo, and include CodeBeamer, Gitlab, Artifactory, etc.

Your responsibilities:

• Operating the server-based ALM tools (CodeBeamer, Gitlab, …)
• Recurrent monitoring and optimization of the ALM toolset
• Development of accompanying tools for the ALM toolset
• Improvement of the ALM processes
• Supporting end users at Festo with the ALM toolset
• Creating and tracking support cases with the vendor

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area
• Understanding of Software Development methods, processes, and tools
• Experience in Linux, Docker and AWS Cloud services
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English
• Team-oriented, enthusiastic self-starter, a quick learner

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Requirements Management and ALM processes, as well as ALM tools like CodeBeamer, Gitlab, Git
• Development skills in Java or C#
• Experience with SCRUM would be beneficial
