Job Description
To provide 2nd line Application Support, namely:
- resolve incidents to restore service
- identify root cause
- deploy releases and changes
- implement Service Requests
- suggest improvements to development
The Application Support Analyst role will provide vital 2nd Line Application Support services for the Company.
Focused on supporting Web Service and Web Site applications, the key tasks will feature:
- Resolve application errors and restore service for Callcredit’s developed and hosted applications.
- Deploy updates and new Callcredit applications into Test and Live Production
- Work with the Development Team on major issues, problem resolution and improvements.
- Maintain and develop the Support knowledge base
- Monitor and provide data to management team on application usage
Requirements
- Experience in application/system support
- Analyse incidents to identify appropriate workarounds
- Problem solving skills to identify root cause and permanent fix.
- Communication skills to all levels including management
- Excellent documentation skills
- Very good English language skills
- Experience of SQL query writing an advantage
- Deployment and Support of on line Web Services and Websites huge plus
- Understanding Internet Technologies including IIS 6 & 7 huge plus.
