Engagement Services Unit is taking a leading role in Telia Company’s transformation journey to create world-class digital solutions that exceed our customer’s expectations!
We are ramping up with new critical areas and we are seeking an Area IT Architect with a hands on technical background to help fulfil our commitments towards our customers.
This position is in Telia Global Services Lithuania. Telia Global Services Lithuania is the competency hub for Telia Company, delivering products and services in IT, network, analytics, software development, procurement, HR and finance operations. With over 500 specialists, the hub is working with cutting-edge technology to ensure group digitalization agenda across Nordics and Baltics.
Your next challenge?
At Engagement Services we are taking care of products at main B2C and B2B Telia web portals, mobile apps, IoT and much more. The main goal of these products is to create an unforgettable experience for every customer that interacts with our products and let them see the best that Telia offers.
You will be a part of E2E Engineering team(s) in the assigned Product area, focus more on a target architecture and strategic product development. You will work with colleagues from different parts of the business, other Area and Core architects and other technology teams. We expect you to be aware of standards, explore and analyses technology trends to develop reference architectures and roadmaps.
As an Area IT Architect you will:
Support your area with solution architecture
Communicate with depending capabilities when needed
Take part of the Architecture council
Provide feedback/suggestions/ideas for improvement to the overall architecture, tooling and WoW.
Help define area road map and time frames
Responsible for the area codebase
Align with company architecture and principles
Foster built-in quality and agile culture
Work tightly with the Engineering Manager and Product Owner
Lead the work with any required security, data protection, risk analysis processes
Provide the teams with non functional requirements

Leading, driving, implementing highly scalable and complex solutions
Proficient planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, engage and delegate
Mentoring engineers to explore, experiment and develop require tech skills
Ability to express technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing
Providing leadership and follow through on complex problems
Experience building and driving large-scale projects
Bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions
Determine proper operational and architecture solution
Experience doing CI/CD
Experience migrating and developing at Cloud environment

Working in this position you will receive a base salary from 4400 Eur (gross) to 5800 Eur (gross) Monthly (this is a reference range; exact salary will depend on your competences) .
