Job Description
General
Issuing of driver instructions
Translation
Pro-active management of drivers, ensuring they are where they should be when they should be
Interface to resolve driver issues on site and on road
Ensure correct paperwork is given to and collected from drivers
Ensuring departure and arrival times are adhered to between RH and destination
Fuel useage analysis and reporting
General administration duties
Full control and responsibility to ensure drivers are achieving RH instructions
Out of hours
Contact for drivers in case of urgent matters
Issuance of change of instructions
Requirements
Our CLIENT needs someone who is:

Flexible to come and work in the UK
Have experience of at least 1 year controlling International trucks, ideally between European countries
Familiar with the legal aspects of operating trucks
Has a clear understanding both written and orally of English, Lithuanian and Russian
Strong interpersonal skills, to interact with both drivers and country managers

The salary is from £20k per annum.
Opportunity to join the company pension scheme which is a contributory scheme.
The working hours are 9am to 5.15 pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch each day.

Our client is a privately owned international freight company with 700 employees, 600 trailers, 300 trucks, 20 sites across the UK. The company operates daily groupage, part and full load services internationally (our area is the whole of Europe – Northern Finland and Russia down to Morocco and Tunisia and everything inbetween).
Currently the company is looking for the Supervisor to join full load department which is 10 people. This department is responsible for full load imports and exports for Spain, Germany and France. These services are predominantly operated on company\'s fleet of 45 Baltic Trucks (double and single manned trucks, ADR equipped and trained, express and standard transit times) which are linked solely to this department.
