Job Description

This role will be part of the team responsible for the engineering (architecture, design, coding, documentation and testing) and handover to production.
The main function of this role will be in the design, analysis and implementation of ASP.NET web pages, authoring SQL procedures, Views &
Functions, C# console applications, web services. The role will involve mainly C# 4.0, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, XML, jQuery, T-SQL 2005 / 8, Web
Services. A good understanding of object oriented programming, process, source control and service oriented architectures.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance ASP.NET 4.0 web pages
  
• Create and maintain T-SQL stored procedures, views, functions, table value parameters.
  
• Author multithreaded C# console applications, which are used to gather inventory from the estate on systematic basis.
  
• Making use of third party SDK’s and API’s to plug into different architectures.
  
• Creating and authoring web services to provide existing functionality to internal teams, and to communicate with different systems.
  
• Development and sign-off of implementation test plans for the production environment.
  
• Production of engineering and support documents.

Requirements

Essential

• At least 5 years Microsoft .NET Web Development
  
• Knowledge: ASP.NET 4.0, .NET 4.0, C#, Visual Studio 2010+,SQL Server Management Studio 2008 R2, JavaScript, XML, MVC 3.0 / 4.0, LINQ
  
• Technically strong
  
• Fast learner – ability to pickup new technologies quickly.
  
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  
• Good documentation skills
  
• Self starter
  
• Team player
  
• Excellent communication skills
  

Preferred
At least 8 years Microsoft .NET Web Development
Knowledge of: jQuery, Database Administration, SSIS, Team Foundation Server, Re-Sharper 5+, Web Services, OO Design, Knowledge of SDLC
(Software Development Life Cycle), Source Control
