Bank Operations Specialist (with accounting background)

As an Bank Operations Specialist, you will carry out assigned tasks in accordance with work instructions and will be the one to ensure accurate output which meets set quality standards. The team is responsible for processing pension and insurance-related payment tasks for all customer segments in Sweden and takes care of all liquidity flows within Life Operations. You will be handling payments, bookings and external cost processing. You will be responsible for month-end activities, such as accounts reconciliation and accruals. In addition, your responsibilities will include providing support towards internal SEB group units. You will be working in a friendly international environment in close cooperation with colleagues in Vilnius and Sweden. Your working language will be English. The job will imply business trips to Sweden. Intensive travel periods may occur during Q1 and Q2 2019.

To succeed and thrive in this position, you need to be self-driven, passionate for figures and have some accounting experience. Academic degree in Economics or Finance would be beneficial. Furthermore, you should have advanced English and computer (especially Excel) skills. It is also expected that you have a keen eye on details, have skills in problem-solving and are willing to learn new things in a constantly changing environment. We believe that you are a positive and customer-oriented person who can work individually and easily contribute to team effort. Swedish language (spoken/written) would be considered an advantage, but is not a requirement.
