Big data developer within the Business intelligence department in Vilnius

Would you like to work in a fast growing international team of experts charged with a responsibility to deliver large scale Data Lake solution for SEB? Now we are looking for a Big Data Developer to join our newly established team of Data Lake within Business Intelligent department in Vilnius.

About the position

As a Big Data Developer in the Data Lake unit within Business Intelligence department, you will be part of the latter and work in an environment with multiple Agile teams, consisting of experts in various Big Data technologies. Your primary responsibility will be delivery of tasks related to loading and transforming the data within the Hadoop data lake, to further make it available for various business applications. As A Big Data Developer, you will have a possibility to evaluate new technologies and tools within Big Data area.

Currently, the Business Intelligence department consists of more than fifty professionals located in both Stockholm and Vilnius, who develop and support the BI solutions utilizing Informatica tools. Separate streams focus on development within the SEB enterprise data warehouse, administration of the Informatica platform and developing the Big Data solutions.

To succeed in your role with us, you should have proven ETL/ELT development, SQL, Hadoop framework (HDFS, Hive, Spark, etc.) and Unix experience. You should have knowledge of the Agile software development methodology and demonstrate Agile team member skills.

Optional skills and experience relevant to Business Intelligence, Data Science, Data mining, Data analysis and Data quality management as well as knowledge of programming languages (Java, Scala, Python or R) would greatly contribute in the role.

Your team will become a spearhead within the Information area in the Bank by forming best practices of developing and maintaining the Information solutions.
