Looking for a bookkeeper to help support our Financial director based in Vilnius. Preferably can speak english but doesnt need to be perfect!

Requirements

Typical qualities of a successful bookkeeper include:
• Strong understanding of the workings of an office
• Understanding of accountancy and book-keeping
• Would hold or be working towards an AAT certificate or related accountancy qualification
• Excellent interpersonal skills – to deal with customers and external contacts
• Good organisational skills and ability to work to, and sometime implement own processes

Bookkeeper
Academy Class’ Bookkeeper will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:
Duties/Areas of Responsibility
The position will cover a broad area of responsibilities:
• Handling supplier invoices on a daily basis, ensuring matching to purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Returning all invalid documents as and when necessary.
• Distribution of supplier invoices for authorisation to various departments.
• Processing supplier invoices via Company CRM system
• Monitor and review of outstanding invoices with prompt resolution of queries
• Ensuring all supplier invoices are filed accurately and timely.
• Answering suppliers’ phone calls and resolving queries
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Processing BACS payments through internet banking
• Reconcile the Purchase ledger to general ledger on a monthly basis
• Process all petty cash payments
• Assist in the preparation of reconciliation including Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of bank reconciliations
• Other Ad hoc tasks as directed
Special Requirements
• Adhere to company protocol as laid out in the Company Handbook
• Update Finance Handbook as necessary with revised and new financial procedures
