Overall IT experience of 4 to 5 Years and as build operator /Release engineer/Release Specialist experience of 2 years in banking domain.
Exposure to core banking and net banking systems release activities.
Hands on experience and extensive knowledge of BPSS/message server
Prove ability to verify release scope installation process and procedures
Good experience in coordinating refreshing Release Management environments
Expertise in validating the SIT/UAT environment after refresh using AIX, jBASE, Linux.
Good exposure to Merge check using SVN / jBASE
Should have excellent Knowledge of common installation procedure steps and problems during SIT/UAT Tests support using ALM / SVN / GIT / zabbix, bash, jsh, jenkins
Should showcase excellent Knowledge of common installation procedure steps and problems for preparing the production build using GIT/Jerkins
Previous experience in Handover activities to system administrators on installation procedure.
Working knowledge of incident management systems such as JIRA/Remedy/Confluence preferred.
Programming knowledge or understanding of Java, SQL, C/C++
Exposure to Code review of the changes approved to release
Exposure to manage and update manual and automated scripts for release.
Exposure and hands on experience in environment shutdown process for release when refreshing from production.
Experience in installation process of delivered applications by using tools and software (running SQL packages (with Oracle SQL*Plus, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle DB, Linux, AIX)
Exposure to various operating systems (Linux, AIX Unix, SunOS, Windows)
Exposure and working experience in web server area such as Apache/IIS preferred.
Working knowledge of databases MySQL/Oracle will be additional advantage
