Business and Patent Analyst

As a Business and Patent Analyst you will work together with the global Festo team and deliver practical business intelligence and reporting solutions. You will be a part of two global teams located in Germany and Lithuania, but the connection circle will expand much more. By analyzing available market studies, competitor’s product portfolios and their opportunities and risks from the patent perspective your research will help to steer the company in the right, successful direction. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain diverse experience in an international company and grow simultaneously as an analyst and a patent expert.

Your daily workday will look like:

• Analysing country-based market insights and segmentations
• Monitoring of competitors and their products
• Patent portfolio reviews for competitive intelligence
• Undertake country analysis based on existing evaluation models
• Collaborate in generating market research reports based on existing data
• Patent portfolio reviews for competitive intelligence

• University degree in engineering
• Analytical and structured mindset
• Fluent in English
• Good communication and presentation skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in analytics and data mining
• Knowledge of patent search databases such as “PatBase”
• Similar work experience

• Extensive introductory trainings
