Business Data Analyst for Asset and Liability Management project

The project purpose is to forecast the bank’s balance to enable the bank to manage the funding more efficient. The project is also responsible for the LCR reporting. The project task is solved by gathering data in a Data Warehouse where it is transformed by different business rules. The forecast and reporting is done in a 3rd party system.

Your will be part of a large, highly skilled, project team (7-10 people) and your daily work will be managed by a project manager. We need someone to do business analysis on data with the purpose to analyse, calculate, and report on these data. The role is, therefore, a hybrid between a Business Developer and a Data Analyst.

Responsibilities:
• Understand the business users’ requirements for information, features, and functionality and communicate them to the rest of the development team
• Elicit requirements using interviews, data analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and workflow analysis
• Design and specify solution elements
• Prepare requirements, design and specification documents
• Perform mapping and data modelling tasks using T- SQL, SQL server, Excel, DB2 and mainframes
• Act as consultant to the programmers.
• Prepare and execute test cases.
• Plan the work on a solution element
• Plan, communicate, and monitor agreements with other departments in IT
• Analyse existing procedures and evaluate requested requirements to identify system changes

• To be able to do business analysis with strong emphasis on data
• Perform mapping and data modelling tasks using T- SQL, SQL server and Excel
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
• Experience with IT development projects
