Job Description

Change Management plays a vital role in managing the successful delivery of Change to the company whilst maintaining the stability and
protection of company‘s IT services.
The role owner will be part of the wider Incident, Problem and Change team. He/She will work with colleagues at all levels to provide Change
process consultancy, training, guidance and support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilising and developing skills in managing the successful delivery of Change through applying appropriate control, management and
governance via the Change Process.
  • Identifying and leading continuous improvements to ensure an efficient and effective Change process whilst maintaining the rigour and
governance required ensuring protection and stability of Service
  • Provide Change Management consultancy to customers and stakeholders as required.
  • Support reporting and follow-up activities to ensure process compliance
  • Preparation of inputs to Change Approval Boards
  • Reviewing of changes against defined quality criteria
  • Performing sample review of Minor and Low rated Change tickets
  • Preparing Change Management communications
  • Supporting reporting and follow-up activities to ensure process compliance


Requirements

We expect you to possess:

  • Understand Change Management process
  • Have basic knowledge of Change Management interfaces and dependencies with other ITIL processes - Configuration Management,
Problem Management, Release Management, Service Level Management, Availability Management, Security Management, Capacity
Management, IT Service Continuity Management, Incident Management/Service Desk and Project Management
  • Knowledge/experience of Service Management (ideally ITIL based)
  • Demonstrate initiative and competence; be confident at organising and chairing meetings
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong customer service ethic
  • Self-starter, team builder, adaptable and able to multi-task
  • Support and encourage positive working behaviours and others during tasks.
  • Flexible and adaptable to a variety of tasks.

Preferred:
  • Awareness and understanding of IT Infrastructure services and application services used Experience driving continuous service
improvements
  • ITIL Foundation V2 or V3 desirable
  • Working knowledge of Service Management tools
