To ensure the smooth & efficient running of all sections in the kitchen. Responsibility for providing the highest standards of food cooking, preparation, quality & cleanliness during his/her working shift.
Main responsibilities:
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard in terms of quality and presentation;
• In co-operation with Executive Chef and Sous Chef lead and administrate the department you working in;
• Keep yourself informed of all functions (banquets, caterings etc) that are happening at hotel at any time;
• Encourage teamwork in the department you are working in.
Requirements
• At least 2 years of a similar experience, preferably in an international company;
• Lithuanian language, catering terminology, English and Russian on communication level is a must;
• Self - initiative and creativity; responsibility and planning skills, ability to work under pressure, make decisions, lead and motivate a team should be your personal features;
• Experience in a hotel business, in a high volume kitchen would be considered as an advantage.
