As a citizen of the European Union your driving licence will be valid in the UK from the date of your arrival. You can keep your company car at your accommodation. You will not be required to collect and return the company car to our office unless you are on holiday. 3. The company will pay for all maintenance checks for e.g. service, MOT, tax and tyres 4. All company cars are serviced regularly by a qualified engineer 5. You will be expected to drive 250 miles each week in accordance to your duties 6. If you have an accident in the company car and it is deemed by the insurance company that it is your fault you will have to pay up £250 towards the insurance policy excess fee Working Hours and Working Pattern “Care In Hand excellent scheduling and monitoring systems ensures our employees have the right shift pattern, have adequate rest days whilst working their contracted hours”. Your personal line manager will email or print your schedule of work 1 week in advance for a 2 week period. On your schedule will include your group of clients, the times and durations you must attend to them. You can choose your contracted hours to be 42 or 48 hours per week and after you have completed your 1st week training you will work 30 hours for the first 2 weeks, 40 hours for the next 2 weeks and 42 or 48 hours hours thereafter. For the first 3 months of employment you will always be working with another colleague who is local to the area. The areas of work are small but populated with many of our clients. You could visit the same client up to 4 times each day. The day shift can start from 06:45 and finish anytime between 12:30 and 14:00. The evening shift can start work from 1545 and finish anytime between 21:00 and 22:00. During your shifts you will have breaks sometimes 1 to 2 hours in total so you can have a rest. You will get paid for the total time the local government allocates to each of our clients for e.g. 15, 30, 45 minutes or 1 hour and you will be paid for the time it takes you to travel to each client. If we have not received your clearance after you have completed your training you will have to wait. Accommodation “Care In Hand company accommodation offers employees a chance of a new home regularly maintained to a high standard” 1. Your shared accommodation will be fully furnished (for example furniture, beds, fridge, cooker, washing machine, television) and is within the area of work within close proximity of supermarket, train and bus station, post office, pharmacy and bank. 2. You will have your own bedroom. 3. First 2 months’ rent free but during this period you will be required to pay £80 per month towards heating, electricity, water, council tax, television licence, internet. 4. After 2 months’ rent free you can choose to stay in the property or you can find alternative accommodation close to your area of work. If you prefer to stay in the company property and depending on the location and the size of your accommodation rental charge including heating, electricity, water, council tax, television licence, and internet is 315 - £340 per month. 5.
