Job Description
Arctic Adventures is looking for a Content Writer to join our SEO team in Vilnius. The person would be responsible for writing original, engaging content for our websites, including blog posts, travel guides and marketing copy. Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers, boost brand awareness and online search rankings.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services;
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems;
- Utilize SEO tactics to create highly-optimized content;
- Write, proofread and edit blog posts about Iceland as well as our products and services;
- Submit work to editors for input and approval;
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles;
- Conduct simple keyword research for SEO;
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics;
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone of voice);
- Update website content as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent English writing and grammar skills are a must for this position;
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role would be a plus;
- Experience doing research for SEO;
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress) would be an advantage;
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field is a plus;
- A passion for nature and travelling - and a willingness to share that passion through your work.
