Contract Manager

Your tasks will include:

• contract organization and construction management in accordance with the knowledge, regulations and construction law of Lithuania, FIDIC requirements, rules of Budimex SA
• Participation in coordination meetings - supervision of the project (English, German, Polish and Lithuanian speaking environment)
• ongoing development of the budget, plans and schedules for the entire project
• cooperation with contractors, selection of a subcontractor/supplier, signing contracts and annexes, negotiation of contractual conditions
• maintaining constant contact with the investor
• settlement of works and supervision over preparation of cost estimates for the investor
• management of subordinate personnel (construction and technology)
• monthly reporting of progress of works based on the contract and internal company procedures
• control of subcontractors' works and their settlement based on contract requirements, technical documentation, schedules and plans of work organization, quality, inspections and tests,
• planning and ordering and supervising the timeliness of deliveries.

We expect from the candidates:

• a university degree,
• proven, minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Contract Manager for the EPC project (power engineering), with a value not less tjan 50MEuro
• experience in implementing EPC facilities in the Republic of Lithuania is welcome,
• very good knowledge of Lithuanian construction law and investment processes,
• proven ability to contract and manage a team of subcontractors and a contract team (not less than 30 people,
• experience in dealing with the investor and conducting trade negotiations,
• mobility (frequent business trips Poland - Lithuania, work away from home), availability,
• English - C1, very good knowledge, reading technical documentation and communicating freely at meetings,
• knowledge of the Polish language is welcome,
• knowledge of the Lithuanian language is welcome,
• experience in preparing and controlling budgets,
• experience in negotiations with material and service providers,
• the ability to follow the financial discipline of the contract,
• very good managerial and communication skills,
• category B driving licence
