Control Systems (Lead) Engineer
Scope Of Activities:
The control systems engineer works within a task force for the realization of multi-discipline projects during all engineering phases, from conceptual phase to commissioning. Work in close cooperation with client and vendors to translate functional specifications into technical solutions. Work with other disciplines as required for the execution of the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Writing and reviewing control systems specifications and vendor documentation
Writing and reviewing control-, batch- and safeguarding narratives
Procurement of control systems including follow-up (FAT)
Cooperate field implementation (SAT/ commissioning/ start-up)
Participate in HAZOP/ IPF studies
Requirements
Basic Job Requirements: 10 years relevant working experience with an engineering contractor or production company in the process industry.
Knowledge of control system architectures DCS and PLC hardware as well as software
Knowledge of process control solutions for chemical/ petrochemical processes
Knowledge of field wiring solutions
Field instrumentation knowledge is a preference
Functional safety (SIL)
Functional Safety Expert certification preferred
Good communication and social skills
Bachelor or Master education level
Pro-active attitude
Willingness to travel
Good English language skills
Good German language skills preferred
