Job Description

As Country Manager (Lithuania) you will be responsible for the operational output of the company’s Vilnius office.

Managing a team of around 50 people and working closely with multiple internal stakeholders, you will be accountable for the delivery of all local services including Product Development, System Admin, Business Intelligence, Content, Finance and HR.

You will need to build and maintain motivated teams, ensuring there is an iterative plan to work towards. You will ensure that the various teams collaborate, communicate, focus on agreed priorities and deliver high-quality output.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Full responsibility for the output of the company’s Lithuanian operations;
  • Day to day management of multiple cross-function delivery teams, with a focus on technical excellence and first class execution;
  • Ensuring output from the Product and Development team is in line with the Head of International Technology’s expectations, and that solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with architectural principles, standards and roadmaps;
  • Robust communications with key international stakeholders to ensure regular and detailed performance updates against pre-agreed performance metrics;
  • Inspire and lead the Vilnius office to ensure we have a highly-motivated team operating in a high-performance culture;
  • Create and maintain a professional working environment, where individuals take ownership of tasks and focus on delivering excellent results;
  • Encourage innovation, new ideas and embed an appetite for learning and personal development;
  • Ownership of all local third party relationships e.g. Lithuanian bank, legal counsel, recruitment agencies, etc.;
  • Ensuring that the company’s operational cost base is in line with agreed budgets.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of work experience;
  • An interest in the iGaming industry, though previous work experience within it is not essential;
  • Experience of working within an International business across multiple locations;
  • Demonstrable evidence of thinking strategically and aligning operational plans with the wider organisational vision;
  • A track record of being responsible for first-class operational delivery and output across a number of different functional teams;
  • Great people and leadership skills; someone with a track record of building, managing and inspiring motivated, high-performance teams
  • A can-do attitude with a strong desire to take control of the company’s Lithuanian operations and step-change performance levels;
  • Excellent technical knowledge and a deep understanding of end-to-end product and development delivery;
  • Exceptional communication skills;
  • A strong analytical mind-set, be comfortable with data, and reporting against a range of KPIs and performance metrics.
