We have started a new truly data driven era in Telia Lithuania and aim to strengthen our team around data and analytics IT. We are now looking for Data Engineers for that team, to source the data and develop data pipelines to the new Analytics Data Foundation, that we are building with modern cloud technologies. Our Analytics Data Foundation forms the basis in Telia Lithuania for high quality enterprise level business intelligence, analytics and marketing automation.

Our team is part of Telia CPS Analytics and Pricing organization built up by internal big data and data warehousing experts, extended with experienced consultants from our partner companies. Who are you?
Ideally, you’ll have at least a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in IT development and management, especially in data warehousing and data analytics areas.
As a developer, you are efficient, proactive, and able to deliver according to the deadlines agreed together. You are already experienced and knowledgeable with part of our key technologies, but to be successful in this role going forward, you need also to be ready and motivated to grow with new challenges and learn and adapt quickly.
Your responsibilities and skills:
Your key responsibilities involve preparing data for analytical or operational uses. It includes building data pipelines to pull together information from different source systems (ie. integrating, consolidating and cleansing data and structuring it for use in individual analytics applications), and you are also responsible for maintaining the existing data pipelines. The key technologies in use are Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Scala, Python and Airflow.
You should also have a good understanding and experience on SAFe framework and agile development methods.
We expect you to work well in a virtual multi-site cross-border teams and be able to conduct your work fluently both in English and Lithuanian.

We offer a monthly base salary from 3 463 - 5 195 gross
