Data integration and quality developer within the Business intelligence department in Vilnius

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the data within the SEB Data repositories based on the business rules, take part in forming the naming standards, developing data definitions, profiling, analysing and overall management of the data. Data integration activities will include setup, support and maintenance of data distribution solutions to allow for efficient delivery of data to multiple subscribers. You will liaise with data owners and receivers to understand their requirements and support both parties in establishing the required services using Informatica toolset.

You will work in the Business Intelligence department which currently consists of more than fifty professionals located in both Stockholm and Vilnius, who develop and support the information solutions utilizing Informatica tools. Separate streams focus on development within the SEB enterprise data warehouse, administration of the Informatica platform and developing the Big data solutions.

To succeed in the role you should have an analytical and business oriented mindset coupled with experience in database/SQL development and interest in banking, finance and accounting. You should be familiar with and be comfortable in data analysis, profiling, metadata management and be able to analyze the data using various techniques. You should be able to collaborate closely with your partners, including both developers and business to understand the business requirements behind the data and translate those into tangible actions that will increase data quality and support developers in their daily work.

Knowledge of logical and physical modelling, principles of physical design of data warehouses as well as experience in the banking sector would greatly contribute to your success. You should have passion for solving business problems via analysis of related data and possess a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the work you are doing. Good collaboration and communication skills, positive and open mindset would help you to be effective and contributing to the best of your abilities.
