Data Warehouse Analyst

Job description:

The FP&A Data Warehouse Analyst serves as a part of a team responsible for supporting global initiatives which involve data warehousing across multiple divisions, with a concentration on revenue and inventory data. The analyst will focus on data-related projects within existing data warehouses, as well as the implementation of new data strategies including consolidation of warehouse technologies and data lake concepts. This role will be located in Vilnius, Lithuania supporting global projects, as well as ad-hoc reporting requirements ensuring regional business data needs are met.


  • Migration / sharing and validation of data across the systems.

  • Interfacing with IT team and business partners (e.g., creation of new cubes and tables with IT Team).

  • Project management responsibilities include: preparing for and participating in regular status meetings or report-outs, understanding requirements from stakeholders, planning for and executing test cycles, change management, and documentation.

  • Support coordination of reporting systems setup, mapping of financial hierarchies, testing, training, and communication.

  • Ability to work on ad hoc projects such as SKU realignments in related systems, report generation and troubleshooting.

  • Other activities include: conversions and reconciliation of sales and customer history, restatement of historic data and documentation of processes and decisions.

    Education/Experience Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in management of data reporting systems

  • Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting, Math, IT or related field

  • Knowledge in at least one of the following systems: EDW/Cognos, HFM, FDM, CMR/Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Oracle JDE/E1, SAP, or similar systems is considered as an advantage

  • Understanding of transactional data & flows across systems, data mapping and hierarchy concepts, and management reporting for Finance community

  • Experience with global reporting environments including multiple currencies, local reporting differences, or similar scenarios

  • Experience in previous FP&A, Accounting, Data Analysis or other IT/Finance role, including impact to reporting systems

  • Excellent communication (spoken and written) language skills in English and Lithuanian

  • Experience in project management and PPI / Kaizen methodologies are considered an advantage
