YOUR JOB:
Design, implementation and administration of MS SQL databases including 2nd level support
Monitoring database performance and implementing required optimizations
Development of virtual SQL-clusters
Close cooperation with database developers and SAN-administrators
Responsibility for backup, restore and security concepts
(Sub-)project management of cross-functional projects

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
Proven working experience as a Database administrator
(3 years minimum)
Advanced knowledge of databases, specifically highly available
MS SQL databases
Good knowledge of Windows server
High awareness of service, quality and responsibility
Ability to work independently as well as a high level of commitment including willingness to undertake shift work and on-call duty
Team-oriented, good communication skills and
hands-on mentality
Advanced German language skills are mandatory
