Job Description

You will be working in a high-transaction environment based on MSSQL 2008R2.
Yourresponsibilities will include:

  • Microsoft SQL Server administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning
  • Database capacity planning
  • Microsoft Clustering
  • Setup, management and monitoring of SQL Server 2008/2012/2014 databases.
  • Replication architecture and operational definition


Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science
  • 2+ years proven SQL DBA / Database Administrator experience
  • Solid experience with database infrastructure & operations experience (pref in a 24/7 mission critical environment)
  • Extensive knowledge of database concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience with most components of relational database design in a high-availability, transactional environment.
  • Good analytical / problem solving / troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Microsoft Certifications would be highly regarding
