Would you like to become part of fast growing team responsible for delivering Information solutions for the business partners across the SEB? Business intelligence department is looking for a Database administrator to support us in delivering and maintaining the solutions within our responsibility.
About the position
Your primary responsibility will be to support and maintain the Oracle databases used for the SEB Business intelligence solutions with special attention to optimizing and performance tuning of the complex and fast growing environment. You will work in a team of professionals which is overall responsible for setting up, running and maintaining the Informatica platform.
Currently the Business Intelligence department consists of more than fifty professionals located in both Stockholm and Vilnius, who develop and support the solutions utilizing the Informatica tools. Separate teams focus on development within the SEB enterprise data warehouse and administration of the Informatica platform.
Requirements
To succeed in the role you should have proven Oracle DBA experience in a Linux environment, mastery of the tools relevant for the role, including Oracle databases and MVS. Optional knowledge of the Informatica pushdown optimization option, Oracle Exadata and Job scheduling tools would contribute to the role.
You should be a self-going quick learner with strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the solutions you support. You should be able to drive continuous improvement and optimization both while working alone and in collaboration within an international team of experts. Good collaboration and communication skills, positive and open mindset would help you to be effective and contributing to the best of your abilities.
